Just here to Give our server/bartender, Bradley, a shoutout. We had a large Party with cranky kids. He was awesome. Some of the best service I've ever had. Give Bradley a raise! Thank you again!

Took my family out for a birthday dinner....earned an extra star for the quality of the meal. Vast improvement over the last time I visited. The grouper was outstanding as was the fried shrimp dinner. My wife loved her lobster tails and the lobster pasta was rated very high. The waitstaff was great.

This is my favorite place to go. The food is always delicious. The service is great. They also have an outdoor area (but I have never been there.) We stared with the crab and shrimp dip. It is served with heated pita chips. I think we fight over it. Onto our main course. The crab steam pot. I call it lot a pot. It has crab legs, oysters, clams, shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage. As usual, it is cooked to perfection and delicious. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. Would I come back here? You betcha! If you see me there, stop by and say hello.

We cannot get over how consistently good this place is. We drive 45 mins to get here from the hotel we're at cause it's that delicious. Get lobster pot pie, hot fish seafood, shrimp & grits, and beet salad. You will not be disappointed. We always eat outside in the gazebo, but inside is beautiful with murals of Merrill inlet. Great live music too outside.

We went here on a busy summer night and it ended up being a great spot for delicious food and a view. We had to wait a bit but there's a nice view of the marsh, musician playing, and a playground nearby for kids. They have a large variety of seafood and it was all really tasty. We got the hot fish sampler with a great variety of appetizers, lobster, sushi, halibut, shrimp, and the fish special which was char grilled. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. They also have a nice kids menu and good options other than seafood like chicken and steak.

Hot Fish Club is a great seafood spot in Murrell's Inlet, SC with a good bit of history behind it. HFC has a menu where you'll want to try a lot of the items, so I imagine you might be back more than once if you're in the area. The atmosphere is casual-plus, you could be in a t-shirt here, but I'd dress-up a little bit more: it's a nice spot. The service was fast & friendly and it has a nice view from the dining room. I'd recommend reservations here as I could see it getting busy depending on the time of the season.

This restaurant is split into two. The completely indoor area with AC is located closer to the street and and an "outdoor" area with a huge bar is tucked right behind it. The outdoor seating area is covered but has open windows that are just steps from the inlet. We made reservations for the indoor seating but reservations are not available for the outdoor seating area. Given how hot/humid it is (this was mid-summer), we opted for the indoor seating. Part of their indoor seating has an extended patio but it's a little warmer there then the general seating area. Service was fine and overall, it was a good experience. They have some things that are awesome and some that are meh....So let's start with the meh and work our way up. The meh: cooked and raw oysters. The cooked oysters were plain steamed and there was no flavor to it...could've skipped this. The raw oysters were okay but our server didn't know what they were called. Thankfully, that's really the only "meh". The seafood corn chowder was okay...for something that says "award winning" I guess I expected more. It was also not very hot. Moving up to the good: The lobster and shrimp quesadilla didn't have your typical flour tortilla. It was light and flaky and had nice chunks of both lobster and shrimp. If you cut each triangle piece in half, it's a good small bit appetizer for 8. The blue crab dip was a bit too much on the rich side but the fried/toasted pieces of pita bread went really well with the dip. The lobster pot pie was also a bit on the heavy and salty side, but we had to try it. The puff pastry was light and very good too. I'd say this dish is enough for 8 people to split as an appetizer if you're interested. Onto the very good: The Super Steampot had a lot of stuff in and aside from the smoked sausage, which was a bit on the salty side, the rest of the seafood was really fresh. Our server told us it was enough for 2 to 3 people to share but if you're getting an appetizer, there's plenty for 4. The ribeye steak (for a seafood place) was very flavorful and tender and the bacon-seared green beans was actually surprisingly very good. To end the night, we had a slice of the key lime pie. It was really smooth but a bit more on the sweet side...I would've preferred something a little more tart with a little more "lime" to it. If I'm back in the area, would definitely stop by and focus more on the steam pots next time.

Get there early on a weekend and bring your appetite. Overflow seating in the gazebo. Grab a drink while you wait. Casual, with delicious food.

There is a reason this place has such a high rating. The seafood was incredibly fresh. Everything was seasoned well. The portions are decent in size. My favorite item was the she crab soup- if you love thick creamy seafood soups like New England clam chowder or lobster bisque then this will probably be your fav too! The crab soup was closer to a lobster bisque with the tomato/cream and I want to say sherry wine. The lobster and shrimp pasta was fantastic. The noodles were freshly made and the broth so flavorful. It also had a rich creamy broth. My crab cake was thick and full of big juicy chunks of meat! I'm usually disappointed when you get a mouth full of fillers and batter but not here. And p.s. their fries were amazing. Sushi was okay. This is also coming from someone who frequently eats sushi... their signature roll was my favorite. But if I were to go back I would stick to their other seafood dishes because that is where this place excelled. The service was excellent. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and answered my many questions. She actually brought me a small sample of the she crab soup when I inquired about it. My husband and I loved it so much we both ordered a bowl. I love the ambiance of this place. It has a warm cozy southern feel. Almost like home styled interior. There is an outside bar area in addition to indoor dining area. We ate indoors.
